My God, what a gong show.  Oscar is just shy of 6 months and SO MUCH is going on with him!  All in the past few days for crying out loud.

On Monday afternoon he sat up!  I put him there… but he stayed! 

He was holding onto his little plastic thing where I put some of his soft toys and rattles and then he just let go and he stayed sitting! 

Fast forward to last night and he started crawling!  He’s not roaming all over the place… in fact he doesn’t really do it more than one movement at a time (well… isn’t that what we all do?), but HE CRAWLED!   He moved his little legs up under him and pushed himself forward.  Once.  To get his toy.  Then again thismorning.  And again this evening!  Yay Oscar!

And then tonight we were hanging out in my room and he totally pushed himself up to a sitting position.  Really crooked. Really unsteady.  But he pulled himself up!  And THEN… in the tub, he pulled himself up so he was on his feet.  He wasn’t standing really, just kind of crunched over on his feet, peering over the edge.

Things are changing around here.  He’s pulling things off the coffee table shelves, so it’s time to remove everything and put his little toys in there instead of HEAVY PEWTAR CRIB BOARDS and the like, lol!

Crazy times.  It’s so exciting.
