When the hell did this happen?

I realized two things today.
1.  I had a baby.
2.  I’m almost 40.
Oscar and I spent the afternoon at the mall.  I had to return a couple of things to Old Navy (because they sucked completely and weren’t worth the $20.00.  When did their baby clothes get so, um, cheap looking (not to mention cheaply made)?  [...]

And… Scene.

Scene:
You’re at a park having a picnic with some friends and family.
Strike One:  your child missed his early evening nap.  He’s tired.  And hungry… you’re also about 20 minutes late for his early evening feed.  (Strike Two.)
Someone is holding him while eating and chatting with the rest of us. 
He’s getting fidgetty.  He’s getting to that sleepy stage [...]

Grrrrrr.

In the short 6.5 months since Oscar has been here, I’ve only been frustrated once.
And that was in the early months when I didn’t understand his cries.  Not that I understand them all now, but I digress.
Fast forward to introducing solids.
